Today, I had a wonderful time hanging out with two of my closest friends back home. After a few talks, we realized that all of us has different plans for the summer. During past summer breaks, we would all return from college to hang out with each other. Sadly, this upcoming summer, we might not see each other at all. We all have summer school and work plans at each of our own colleges (our second home) .
This talk made me realized that we have grown up so quickly. We all have different lives, different plans, different goals now. It’s no longer high school where we all did the same thing, attended the same classes, and participated in the same clubs.
It started with us going to different colleges, then having different groups of friends. Sooner or later we’re going to have different occupations and live in different cities! It is absolutely mind boggling to me! And to think just four years ago we were making Back Street Boys and Geisha videos in my back yard, now we’re almost halfway done with college guys!
I’m actually sitting here looking through my birthday pictures taken annually ever since middle school and just comparing how much we have changed in the past years. Let me tell you, it is absolutely AMAZING. I should really post these up somewhere one day. Right now, I can honestly say that I am so grateful and so lucky that we are all still incredibly close friends after what…7 years?! Some even more! I love what we have and I know that we’ll stay in touch regardless of the inevitable changes throughout our upcoming years. I love you all <3
P.S Kim Pham, I know you’re reading this. Yes, we’ll attend each other’s wedding. We better, bitch. JK love you <3
Today I visited Quynh and we had a pretty epic (fail at times) day.
Going out to eat, we decided to go to a Vietnamese restaurant. Yummy food, for sure, but then half way through I asked Quynh “Hey, do they take credit card?” and she said “Yeah, they should”. Then some donation singers came in…
LOL OKAY. the park said KOY FISH POND PARK or whatever 5 years ago…
